This poem reminds me of my old camp in the summer called Camp Greystone. It was a spend the night camp in North Carolina that was 3 weeks long that I would go to with my friends. You did multiple activities each day. I remember it was always so pretty up there and we had the best weather, because we were in the mountains, where the air is fresh. This poem expresses what summer is like being free, having fun, and playing around. I remember one time i was rushing to my next activity and i fell on the concrete and cut my knee! It hurt really bad and i still have a scar from it. Camp was always fun and was the highlight of my summer that I would always remember.

1. Why do some people disapprove of adding fluoride to drinking water?2. What would your position be on adding fluoride to drinking water and why?3. What technological advances in toothpaste had to be made before fluoride could be widely used in toothpaste and mouthwashes?4. What side effects of using fluoride in drinking water are of most concern to you? Why? Water fluoridation by public authorities has provoked controversy. Advocates of water fluoridation say that fluoridation is similar to fortifying salt with iodine, milk with vitamin D and grape juice with vitamin C and say it is an effective way to prevent tooth decay. Those opposed to public fluoridation of drinking water contend that water fluoridation can have harmful health effects such as dental fluorosis and bone cancer, though medical research shows this is not the case. Some opponents claim that fluoridation takes away individual choice as to the substances a person ingests and that it amounts to mass medication. I am against adding fluriode to water because I do not want to take the risk of getting cancer, even if it can be good for me, I am not willing to get sick off of it, but that is if you take to much of an amount of fluoride. Therefore if i take the right amount of fluoride then it is good for me and I am not likely to get the side effects of it. In 1955, Procter and Gamble was the first company to find a fluoride-abrasive combination that worked, pairing stannous fluoride with calcium pyrophosphate. Some side effects from fluoride include, bone decay and bone fracture. When fluoride is taken at excessive amounts the bones get brittle and tend to fracture. In cases when you take the right amount, it is good for you and helps your bones and teeth.Bibliography: http://pubs.acs.org/cen/whatstuff/stuff/7916sci4.htmlhttp://www.kidshealth.org/parent/general/teeth/fluoride.htmlhttp://www.adha.org/oralhealth/fluoride_facts.htmhttp://www.holisticmed.com/fluoride/
